A welcoming spring tea tasting afternoon was held at the vibrant studio boutique of Stephanie Borg in Rabat, Malta on the 8th of April 2017. Tea and art lovers, were surrounded with Maltese inspired art and a large whole leaf tea variety in loose leaf, eco tea sacks and gift packs. The different types of tea leaves where displayed for tea lovers to see the colours, touch the textures, and smell the aromas of these beautiful leaves. Guests were then offered to choose the teas they wanted to taste and then compared the taste with the aroma of the dried tea leaves. Tea was served in the fine vintage porcelain cups and saucers from the Tettiera private collection and also in the Stephanie Borg Tile Pattern Ceramic Mugs. The cup of tea was complimented by delicious Maltese Easter sweets known as Figolli and Kwarezimal made by Oil & More. The Tettiera Eco Tea Sacks and the Tettiera Infuser Baskets were also launched during this event. This basket infuser is the best method to maximise the flavours of your tea leaves in the easiest of ways. Guests were able to take home their favourite Tettiera tea tube blends and a few eco tea sacks of those teas they wanted to try at the comfort of their home. Due to the lovely but busy afternoon, a huge bundle of infused tea leaves was produced. As part of our eco life philosophy, these infused tea leaves were taken used in our pot garden to nourish the plants.
Stephanie Borg is the collaborative artist and designer who designed the Tettiera Tile Pattern, brand logo and packaging.
