Every December, Ċelestina – the conservatory’s curator, awakens the Conservatory’s quiet magic, curating 25 gifts inspired by the wild heart of the Mediterranean. These are not simply parcels — they are moments, gathered beneath orange trees and sunlit valleys, steeped in Malta’s natural beauty.
Guided by the flutter of the elusive Merill, she weaves together a melody of artisan teas, botanical infusions and gourmet delights, wrapped in stories and wonder.
Inspired by the lush serenity of Mediterranean garden conservatories and their elegant wrought iron and glass structures; the conservatory illustration features the Merill, Malta’s national bird, nestled among renowned native plants such as hibiscus, borage, red peony, ground thistle, pine, fennel shrub, rosemary, and white jasmine—a celebration of local biodiversity, tradition, and serenity.
