Tulsi also known as Holy Basil is known for its defending and healing properties. It is referred to by many cultures as the herb for all reasons. High in antioxidants, rich in Vitamin A and C, Tulsi is an immune system booster, an anti-inflammatory agent and works wonders on the skin. Tulsi, comes from the basil plant, Ocimum tenuiflorum, has a strong aromatic flavour with a hint of anise aroma. It has a slightly bitter taste with a spicy twist.
