The collection of herbal infusions, based on Tettiera’s beloved locally created concoctions, is put together to support an all-rounded daily wellbeing.
Available in unbleached tea bags, this aesthetically appeasing tisane collection will sit nicely on any kitchen and serve to nurture the body and soothe the soul, no matter the reason or time of day. Each tea, having a bi-lingual name to celebrate Tettiera’s Maltese roots, serves its own particular purpose – from imbuing tranquility, to providing a cheeky kick, a hug in a mug or a boost during a hectic day.
The packaging, designed by Stephanie Borg carries the quintessential tile design, now synonymous with Tettiera – winner of the Artisanal Awards 2021 – Food & Beverage Category (Premju Ġieħ l-Artiġjanat Malti 2021) .
Trankwilla – Tranquility is a tangy ruby, red infusion created to relax, soothe, and heal. A blend which not only aids digestion but comes to the rescue in moments when all you need is to calm down and lessen the pace. Perfect for winding down after a hectic day and to soothe the senses any time needed.
Lemongrass & Ginger offers an uplifting refreshing moment, whilst the added peppermint and liquorice contribute to offering a surprisingly therapeutic cup. Pairs perfectly with a spoonful of Maltese honey. A revitalising cup to reinvigorate the senses.
Il-Bieżla – Guardian of Wellbeing works hard to defend your wellbeing. The strong, spicy, aromatic tulsi blends perfectly with the peppery punch of lemon balm. The velvety sweet rosehip tones down the other vibrant qualities of this infusion, making it a truly soothing cup of goodness. A tea to be incorporated in your daily routine to boost overall wellbeing.
L-Għażiża – My Dearest pairs the velvety floral-sweet notes of the rosehips with the spirited lemongrass. The added raspberry leaf provides an earthy comfort. A sensational love affair of flavours. A pick-me-up whenever you need that little bit encouragement during your day.
Tgħanniqa Chai – The Hug is an interesting blend of Maltese carob and cocoa shells, and provides a perfect chocolatey punch with a hint of spice – making a perfect Maltese Chai. The Ceylon black tea can be enjoyed with a splash of milk or steeped directly in milk.
Wens – Comfort is a soothing cup to unwind and gently restore the body’s equilibrium. The chamomile blossoms offer calmness while the peppery notes in the bright green nettle leaves, stimulate the senses. The playful baby rose buds add a floral aroma to this remedial concoction. Perfect to recollect oneself throughout the day.
Whilst the collection presents the blends in unbleached tea bags, the infusions are also available as loose leaf teas.
